Many homes here in the Hill Country have have low pressure dosing systems, such as: Timberwood park, Bulverde, Kerrville, Boerne and many other parts of the Hill Country. These types of system are a great way to treat your wastewater. They also requiring little to no maintenance for a period of time, unlike an aerobic septic system with many parts that require constant maintenance. Although the drain lines may be hidden, they do require some care to allow for many long years of uninterrupted use. To keep your drain lines from causing you a problem: keep all trees well watered and trimmed back away from your drain field, avoid heavy machinery from driving over your drain field and causing broken lines or compacting soil and have your drain lines blown out every few years to prevent sludge build up to allow for even distribution. Follow these easy steps and you should have a worry free system with many years of use.
